Subject: Anthroposophia's Shadow

I am preparing to write in some detail about the subject of the Doppelgaenger or Double of the Being Anthropsophia. A few weeks BDT (Before Denver Tragedy---Nov.12), I had written about the "bright light of Anthroposophy casting the dark shadow of Nazism." I wanted to clarify that statement first lest anyone think I am saying that anthroposophy is the cause of Nazism.

If you imagine a bright flashlight shining upon an object, it is the object that causes the shadow, not the light itself. In that sense, the bright light of anthroposophy, when shining into the spiritually opaque physical world of the 20th century, shines upon an "object" that casts a very dark shadow. Into that dark shadow can work the beings of the darkness, the Ahrimanic and now even the Asuric.

In many conversations I had with Rev. Carl Stegman in 1980-81, he spoke about the importance Steiner put on the year 1933. Not only would it see the beginning of the return of the Etheric Christ, but that it would also see the beginning of a movement that could be styled the Doppelgaenger or Double of anthroposophy. Rudolf Steiner did not live to see 1933, but Carl Stegman carried Steiner's warnings to that year, and he recalled that many people, including many anthroposophists of that time, actually considered Adolf Hitler to be a Michaelic figure and that Hitler's rise to power in Germany in that year was the sign of Christ's return in the etheric.

It is a natural confusion because the shadow not only takes the form of the opaque object, but its darkness is in equal and opposite intensity to the spiritual light that shines. That is to say: the brighter the light, the darker the shadow it casts.

But rather than approach this issue from within the world of anthroposophy, I would rather approach it from the outside in. And we really don't have to go far to find the manifestations. Here are some reading assignments from a website that was provided by Herman deTollenaere of the Netherlands, one of Dan Dugan's left wing European sources for information to use against anthroposophy.

There is a radical left wing book called: "Ecofascism: Lessons From the German Experience," by Janet Biehl and Peter Staudenmaier (published by AK Press). At the ff websites, you can read two of the essays in the book, which deal specifically with the connection between anthroposophy and Nazism. The first is the essay by Janet Biehl entitled: "'Ecology' and the Modernization of Fascism in the German Ultra-right."

One section of her essay is called: "Anthroposophy and the 'World League for the Protection of Life'." She claims that this movement was founded by a former SS Nazi who became a Christian Community priest. His name is Werner Georg Haverbeck (1909- ? ). Haverbeck himself was supposedly converted to anthroposophy by Rudolf Hess, who was not only a staunch and devout anthroposophist, but also brought bio-dynamic farming into the inner circle of the Nazi hierarchy.

The second article, by Peter Staudenmaier, is entitled: "Fascist Ecology: The "Green Wing" of the Nazi Party and its Historical Antecedents." Its URL is:

In this essay, he addresses the issue of the German concept of "Blood and Soil." (Blut und Boden). He draws a parallel between the Nazi ideal of purifying the blood through breeding the Aryan "superman" and the purifying of the soil, largely through Steiner's bio-dynamic agriculture. One of the key figures in pushing for Steiner's ideas in implementing the policy of"blood and soil" is Walther Darre'.

I hope to hear from a number of you who know much more about this issue and the people involved who are linked intimately with anthroposophy and the top of the Nazi hierarchy.

We are now living in the time of ADT (After Denver Tragedy) and we can no longer hide from cognizing the Shadow of the Being Anthroposophia. Are we willing at this point just to acknowledge that such a Shadow exists? Dan Dugan and his crowd are certainly well aware of its existence and they are already making plans to make us more and more aware of such a Shadow.
