Why? Because it is under the complete control of Ahriman. This fact and this fact alone is enough to counter-balance the inherent Luciferic content of what I call "default" anthroposophy, i.e. anthroposophy that can only exist in the world as a kind of "hothouse" plant, thoroughly withdrawn from the world of Ahriman where it is supposed to be applied. To me that application IS the Christ impulse.

For God's sake, (whoever God is at this point in evolution) Mensch, this sub-natural medium is a new spiritual communion among human beings! We are unfolding the 3-fold social order as we type, point and click. Do you understand the freedom and intensity and intimacy we have on this List precisely because our physical and etheric bodies are filtered out of this medium and therefore, we can have communion with each other concentrated on the astral-ego level? Thus we can have discussions far deeper than the discussions we could have face to face with our clunky old physical and creaky leaky etheric bodies getting in the way!

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth---- especially when the gift is from Ahriman! Look at Howard's tour de force of epistemological reasoning that answered Ken Wilson's objections to my "consistency-completeness" post. The point is that Howard came on and answered the riddle of percept and concept in the spiritual realm when all I could muster was a vague recall that Steiner said the incompleteness of percepts applies in spiritual knowledge as well as ordinary knowledge. What is going on here is a deep communion with each other. Later, I will answer the specific issues of Howard's post and Ken's, but even now, Howard's inspiration has led me to look at this "reflection" in the etheric as somehow connected with the whole existence of negative numbers (the identity element of Group theory) and on to the astral element expressed in the inversion (Umstuelpung?) of the unity element in group theory.

Each posting here can be a "polar-Goethean conversation piece" in the sense of Lawrence Edwards' use of the term. What I see happening here is a real "Steigerung" or enhancement going on, and I would urge all of us to rethink (meta-noeo) the essence and/or beingness of the Internet. IT IS the greatest thing since sliced bread." (Even though the bread is actually a (silicon) stone!)
